The Night Before Christmas
Our Review
The Night Before Christmas is the eternal holiday classic brought to you in storybook format. What first struck me about this app is how nicely it translates into a small screen format when compared with other ebooks I’ve experienced. It’s no surprise that the rich watercolor pictures were scaled and illustrated specifically for use on the iPhone/touch screen. The text is clear and easy-to-read and there are several “extras” including the option to record your own narration. I found the background music and page turning sound effects a bit annoying and distracting but soon realized these features can be easily overridden. This storybook app is a seasonal best!
